It is often said that the character and personality of an organization stems from its leader, and United Fiberglass is no exception. President and CEO Jim Seitz built his career and company over the past 46+ years bringing innovation, loyalty, quality and experience to the industry.
UFI began operations in Amarillo, Texas on May 1, 1972. At that time, the company employed only 10 men and production consisted of 3 basic tank sizes of storage tanks. The tanks served the petroleum industry and to hold salt water and gained in popularity due to their resistance to rust and for prevention of ground water pollution. Today, UFI offers a wide array of tanks and products up to 420 barrels which serve the petroleum, agriculture, chemical, environmental, and custom markets.
Guided by the principles of quality, commitment, integrity and customer satisfaction, the UFI team has contributed to the success of clients both large and small from the Panhandle of Texas and across the country. Our goal is to provide each customer with personal service and products designed to fit their individual needs. We offer competitively priced products with on-time delivery.
